Martin Wood, 47, of the 5900 block of Prince Ave., died June 27, 1995, in Lake Taylor Hospital.
Mr. Wood was born in Norfolk and was employed with the water maintenance department of the City of Norfolk and the school maintenance department of the Norfolk Public School System.
Survivors include two sons, Maurice Vaughan and Kevin Collins, both of Norfolk; three sisters, his twin, Marion Lewis, and Phyllis Dixon, both of Norfolk, and Muriel Maize of Chesapeake; four brothers, Alvin Wood of New York, Maurice Bailey and Ronald Wood of Chesapeake and Perius Claigon of Portsmouth; one uncle, Ned Daniels of Norfolk. He was predeceased by his parents, Ida Daniels Wood and Calvin Wood.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Ebenezer Baptist Church, 875 Baker Road, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. K.C. Jones. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Pretlow's Funeral Home is in charge.
