Blandine G. Morin, 86, of the 1000 block of Baker Road, a homemaker, died June 29, 1995, in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Morin was born in Canada and was the widow of Arthur J. Morin. She was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Doris Sherman of Pierre, S.D., Irene Young of Maple Valley, Wash., and Jean Carpenter of Virginia Beach; a sister, Blanche Bourgeois of Woonsocket, R.I.; a brother, Alonza L. Heureax of Wallingford, Conn.; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her son, Arthur J. Morin Jr. and her daughter, Lorraine Vickery.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in St. Mary's Cemetery, Norfolk, by Fr. John Peck. The family will receive friends at Kellum Funeral Home, Pleasant Hall/Kempsville Chapel, from 10 a.m. to noon, prior to a prayer service, before leaving the funeral home for the graveside service.
