There is a big move to limit smoking in public because second-hand smoke causes medical problems, raising the cost of medical care.
Statistics show that high speeds cause an increase in fatalities, thus causing an increase in the cost of medical care.
Therefore, speed limits should not be eliminated. If we have restrictions on smoking, we should have restrictions on speed.
