Mary Betty Adams Denson, 87, died July 1, 1995, in a nursing care facility.
Mrs. Denson, a native of Roxobel, N.C., was the widow of Roger W. Denson. She was a member of Fairview Heights Baptist Church, Portsmouth.
Survivors include her son, Floyd M. Willford Jr. of Portsmouth; two sisters, Lola Howell, Lillian Carpenter; two brothers, William Adams, Tosh W. Adams of Suffolk; and a grandson, F. Larry Willford of Norfolk.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Meadowbrook Mausoleum Chapel, Suffolk, by Dr. George E. Barton. Friends may join the family today from 7 to 8 p.m. at Baker-Foster Funeral Home, Bennett's Creek Chapel.
