HUBERT H. LOWE

Hubert Harrell Lowe, 80, of the 4200 block of Arthur Drive, died Friday, June 30, 1995, in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Lowe waas born in Bertie County, N.C., and was the son of the late Richard Floyd and Mrs. Lottie Harrell Lowe. He was a retired farmer, and a member, trustee and deacon of Great Fork Baptist Church. He was also an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his wife, Helen Evans Lowe; one daughter, Roseland Lowe Worrell and her husband, Donald, of Suffolk; one son, Jerry Lowe and his wife, Susan, of Suffolk; five sisters, Jessie Mae Sexton and Florence Spruill, both of Roper, N.C.; Janie Reynolds of Roxobel, N.C., Gray Goodwin of Edenton, N.C., and Dorothy Morris of Suffolk; two brothers, Woodrow Lowe of Edenton, N.C., and Meredith Lowe of Gloucester, Va.; four grandchildren, Justin Daniel Worrell, Joshua Edward Worrell, Michelle Lynn Lowe and Jeremy Brian Lowe. He was preceded in death by a brother, Glynn Lowe.

The funeral will be conducted at 5 p.m. today in Great Fork Baptist Church by the Rev. Richard Bruce. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, is handling the arrangements. Friends may join the family at the residence.
