Jim Jimenez, 72, of the 3000 block of Lenoir Circle, a retired barber, died July 2, 1995, in his residence.
Mr. Jimenez was born in Corona, Calif., and was retired from Jimmy's Barber Shop. He was the widower of Isabell Lewis Jimenez and was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Norfolk, Disabled Veterans and Moose Lodge (NU)39.
Survivors include three sons, Larry R. Jimenez of Virginia Beach, Ted V. Jimenez and Paul M. Jimenez, both of Norfolk; five sisters, Lupe Varela, Ramona Garcia and CoCo Spino, all of Selma, Calif., Rachel Huet of Yuron, S.D. and Petra Stott of Vallejo, Calif.; a brother, John Jimenez of Richmond, Calif.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Christ the King Catholic Church, Norfolk, by Father Joseph P. Lehman. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel.
