Linwood Earl Taylor, 64, of the 2600 block of Manning Road, died July 3, 1995.
He was formerly of Virginia Beach and was retired as an inspector with Ford Motor Co. He was a member of Cedar Branch Baptist Church in Jamesville and Gatesville Masonic Lodge (NU)126. He was preceded in death by his mother, Tillie Speight, and father, Linwood Taylor.
Survivors include his wife since 1955, Annie Barber Taylor; daughter, Becky Schmidt of Virginia Beach; sons, David Taylor of Jamesville and Stephen Taylor of Virginia Beach; brothers, Frank Taylor of Corapeake, Melvin Taylor of Gates, Leslie Taylor of Sunbury, Dalton Taylor of Virginia Beach and Irvin Taylor of Chesapeake; and five grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Cedar Branch Baptist Church, Jamesville, by the Rev. Paul Weaver. Burial will be in Barber Cemetery with Masonic rites. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30.m. today at Biggs Funeral Home, Williamston.
