Evelyn Parrish Moyers, 77, of the 1500 block of W. Queen St., died Tuesday, July 4, 1995, in Chowan Hospital.
A native of Chowan County, Mrs. Moyers was the wife of the late Hausam Zaner Moyers and the daughter of the late George LaFayette and Millie Roberta White Parrish. Mrs. Moyers was a member of Edenton Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Norma Jean Maher of Chesapeake; a stepdaughter, Barbara Dove of Harrisonburg, Va.; a granddaughter; and a great-grandson.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Beaver Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday and at other times at the residence.
