Dorothy Lee Guevara, 76, died July 3, 1995, in Norfolk.
She was a native of Onley, Va., and was the widow of Benjamin Guevara. She was a member of Haygood United Methodist Church, and was a retired retail salesperson.
She is survived by one son, Donald Thornes of Chesapeake; one sister, Elsie Smith of Girdle Tree, Md.; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, by the Rev. Alan Reifsnyder. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
