Amos Lee Sneed, 70, formerly of the Brighton section of Portsmouth, died July 1, 1995, in Brooklyn, N.Y.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Mary J. Sneed and Vergie Sneed; a brother, Charles T. Sneed; two uncles, Frank Sneed and James Bembry; four nephews; and many cousins and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Fisher Funeral Home by the Rev. Johnnie Drake. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery. The family will assemble at 109 Sunrise Ave., Portsmouth. ILLUSTRATION: Personal Photo
