Catherine Inez Humphries, 64, of the 900 block of Suburban Parkway, died July 3, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Mrs. Humphries was born in Columbia, N.C.
Survivors include her husband, Walter S. Humphries; a daughter, Sherion Martin of Sutherlin, Va.; a son, John Edward Humphries of Cary, N.C.; a sister, Myrtle Williams of Norfolk; two brothers, Wade Bateman of Chesapeake and Dallas Bateman of Columbia, N.C.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. T.M. Frye. The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today and at the residence at all other times.
