DISTRICT A

Unauthorized use of motor vehicle, 5100 block Stratford Drive, June 19, someone allowed a family member to use his four-door, brown, '80 Toyota Corolla to go to work, but it was not returned.

Grand larceny, 6000 block Camellia Drive, June 20, someone removed a pit bull from its chain in a back yard. The dog is black, with a white neck, chin and paws, is named ``Precious.''

Grand larceny, 3000 block Gum Court, June 21, someone broke several windows out of five vehicles and removed items. Approximate damage is $1,500.

DISTRICT B

Breaking and entering, 3400 block Godwin Blvd., June 15, someone removed several items from a boat docked at Brady's Marina.

Motor vehicle theft, 2000 block Timberland Drive, June 17, someone removed a four-door, gold, '87 Cadillac DeVille from a residence.

DISTRICT C

Motor vehicle theft, 100 block North Saratoga St., June 15, two juveniles entered a light gray, four-door, '93 Plymouth Acclaim and drove off. The doors were unlocked, keys left in the ignition.

Petty larceny, 700 block Battery Ave., June 15, someone removed a dark purple, 24-inch, 18-speed Murry bicycle from the front porch of a residence.

Armed robbery, 100 block North Main St., June 17, an armed gunman demanded that a salesclerk give him rings from a showcase. He took one gold ring with three diamonds and fled.

Grand larceny, 2200 block North Main St., June 19, someone removed a Black Ocean trailer, light blue, with ``Cho-Yang'' written on the side.

Breaking and entering, 400 block Market St., June 20, someone entered a business through a side window and removed about $200 from the cash box.

Petty larceny, 2300 block Godwin Blvd., June 20, someone removed a city decal from a vehicle.

DISTRICT D

Breaking and entering, 1400 block Forest Oak Lane, June 15, someone threw rocks into a residence and removed a screen. The occupant was advised by her children, who heard the people outside.

Petty larceny, 1100 block Custis Road, June 15, someone removed a GE portable cellular phone from a vehicle.

Petty larceny, 100 block River Point Road, June 15, someone removed a personalized license plate ``FLAKY 2'' and a cellular phone from a vehicle.

Petty larceny, 1200 block South 11th St., June 16, someone removed a Virginia state inspection sticker from a vehicle.

Petty larceny, 600 block Kinsey Lane, June 17, someone removed a Virginia state inspection sticker from a vehicle.

Petty larceny, 100 block Cullodan St., June 17, someone removed a black and pink Huffy bicycle from a residence.

Petty larceny, 1100 Lake Kennedy Drive, June 17, someone removed an inspection sticker from a vehicle parked in front of a residence.

Grand larceny, 100 block Bemon Mill Trail, June 19, someone removed an RCA Hi-Fi, four-head VCR valued at $605.

Petty larceny, 300 Mulberry St., June 19, someone removed a small black wallet containing a check and assorted I.D.'s. The front license plate was also removed from a vehicle.

Attempted armed robbery, 1100 block Bethlehem St., June 21, a tall black male wearing a blue bandana and light blue ball cap entered a residence with a firearm stating, ``This is a robbery.'' The victim fled the residence.

Petty larceny, 1200 block Lake Kennedy Drive, June 21, someone removed a Virginia state inspection sticker from a vehicle parked in a driveway.

DISTRICT E

Breaking and entering, 8400 block Arthur Drive, June 21, someone returned home to find an unfamiliar vehicle parked in front of her residence. As she approached the house, she observed a black male walking from the rear. A check of the house revealed that $120 was missing.

DISTRICT F

Lost/stolen, city of Suffolk, June 15, a Suffolk city sticker was not properly secured to a new windshield that had recently been installed.

Grand larceny, 1600 block Cypress Chapel Road, June 16, someone removed several fishing rods, a tackle box and a Virginia trailer tag from a residence.

Detective E.C. Harris seeks help in locating a robbery suspect.

On June 17, a male entered Barr Brothers Jewelry Store, in the

100 block of North Main St., Suffolk, and asked to see a diamond

ring. When the clerk took the ring from the showcase, the man pulled

out a small-caliber handgun, took the ring and fled.

The suspect is described as a black male, in his 20s, 5-foot-8,

105 pounds, and wearing a blue and gray striped shirt and dark

pants. If you have information concerning this robbery, call Suffolk

Crime Line at 539-1222. Information leading to an arrest can bring a

reward up to $1,000.
