MAUD BANKS

Maud Banks, 102, of the 1400 block of Atlantic Ave., died July 3, 1995, in Brent Lox Nursing Center.

Mrs. Banks was born in Currituck County, N.C. She was the widow of Tony Banks and was a member of Providence United Church of Christ in Chesapeake, the Deaconess Board, Pastor's Aid Society and was Church Mother.

Survivors include three daughters, Mittie Demby and Lenora P. Felton of Chesapeake and Elouise Lawton of Radcliff, Ky.; 17 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; 53 great-great-grandchildren; and many other survivors and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Providence United Church of Christ by the Rev. Dr. Alexander Jamison Sr. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Fitchett Funeral Home is handling arrangements. The body will be in church at 11 a.m. Saturday. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
