Ralph Alonzo Brooks, 55, of the 1500 block of Bayview Blvd., a U.S. Postal Service employee, died July 2, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mr. Brooks was a native of Albuquerque, N.M., and had retired from the U.S. Navy as a first class petty officer. He was currently a U.S. Postal employee at the Church Street Post Office.
Survivors include two sisters, Merletta Pannell of Arizona, Margaret King of Texas; three nieces and two nephews; and many friends.
A chapel service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Francis E. Collins. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. There will be a visitation in the funeral home Friday from 7 to 8 p.m.
