Ermie S. ``Julia'' Stewart, 89, died July 5, 1995, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Stewart was born in New Salem, Ohio, and was the wife of the late Dana J. Stewart. She was a member of Baylake United Methodist Church in Virginia Beach and was retired from the U.S. Naval Communications Station, Norfolk.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia S. and her husband, William D. Ponton of Virginia Beach; a son, Paul F. and his wife, Linda H. Stewart of Norfolk; a granddaughter, Kathy S. and her husband, Ray Nice of Williamsburg; two grandsons, Craig A. Ponton and Gary S. Ponton, both of Virginia Beach; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
