Ruth Ardelia Anderson, 76, of the 800 block of 15th St., a retired real estate agent in Virginia Beach, died July 5, 1995, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.
Mrs. Anderson was born in Raleigh, N.C., and was the widow of Bertram C. Anderson. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Raleigh and attended Unity Church of Tidewater.
Survivors include a daughter, Tina Schofield Warren, and husband, Sam, of Virginia Beach; a special son, Billy Edwards of Apex, N.C.; two sisters, Irene S. Marrow of Raleigh and Versie S. Hinton of Irvington, N.J.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Cleveland Strickland III.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk, by the Rev. Joyce Kramer. Visitation will be at Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
