William Emmett ``Bill'' Brown Jr., 63, of Route 1, died Wednesday, July 5, 1995, in the Hampton VA Hospital.
Mr. Brown was born in Gates County. He was retired from Union Camp Corp., Franklin, Va. A member of Zion United Methodist Church, and Gatesville Masonic Lodge (NU)126, he was US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his father, William Emmett Brown Sr.
Surviving are one daughter, Pamela Lawlar of Garnar, N.C.; two sons, Glenn Ray Brown of Cary, N.C., and William L. Brown of Gatesville; his mother, Helen Chaney Brown of Hobbsville; two sisters, Helen Brown Jordan of Hobbsville and Carol Brown Wyatt of Henderson, N.C.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Miller Funeral Home in Gatesville. Friends may join the family at the home of his sister, Helen B. Jordan, Route 1, Hobbsville.
