LIFE'S NECESSITIES

Apparently Governor Allen is trying to be in the same popularity contest as Newt Gingrich and Robert Dole. First no tolls, no concealed weapons and, now, no water - a necessity of life.

In order to draw more tourists, businesses, etc., to this area, we're going to need more water; doesn't take a college degree to realize that.

The tolls furnished jobs and a way of keeping the highways repaired without hitting up the local people for more taxes. Everyone who uses the highways should pay.

It doesn't matter what party we belong to, we're all our brother's keeper. Without the necessities of life we're doomed.
