Shawntes M. Myles, 16, of 818 Bold St., died July 5, 1995.
She was a native of Portsmouth and was a student at I.C. Norcom High School. She was a member of Noble St. Baptist Church where she was in the junior choir. She was also in the National Honor Society and the Isiserettes.
She is survived by her parents, Jacqueline and Raymond Myles; one sister, Raven Myles; her maternal grandparents, Bessie Gatling and Robert Gatling Sr.; and her paternal grandparents, Mary Myles and Matthew Myles.
The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Noble St. Baptist Church by the Rev. Ronnie T. Northam Sr. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. Fisher Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. The family will be at the residence. ILLUSTRATION: Personal photo
