A 20-year-old man has been charged with the rape and abduction of a 15-year-old girl in May, police reported Friday.
Clayton P. Chapman was arrested Thursday about 9:30 p.m. in the 700 block of West 34th St. Police said an investigation led to charges of rape, abduction and the use of a firearm in a felony.
Police said the assault allegedly took place May 28 in the 1100 block of Louisa St. Chapman is being held in the Norfolk City Jail.
