Dr. James V. Cornetta, a resident of Portsmouth, was recently elected president of the Virginia Optometric Association, an organization representing Virginia's eye care specialists.
Cornetta, a past president of the Tidewater Optometric Society, has a private practice with his father, Dr. Vincent Cornetta, on High Street. They specialize in contact lenses and diagnosis and treatment of vision and related disease and abnormalities.
