Regarding ``Officer cleared in friendly fire deaths'' (news June 21): To the families of the victims of two helicopters shot down over Iraq in April '94, I extend my sincere condolences and heartbreak. To the U.S. Air Force: I am appalled at the lack of action toward those responsible for the deaths of those loved ones. The Air Force has shown extreme disregard for their lives.
I wonder if those involved in the shootdown and trial can look in the mirror without getting sick?
