Gertrude Goldberg, 89, of the 3000 block of W. Chapel Ave., died July 8, 1995, in her residence.
Mrs. Goldberg was a native of England and a former resident of Tidewater. She was the widow of Sam Goldberg, and was a member of Ohef Sholom Temple, in Norfolk.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph Goldberg of Virginia Beach and Marshall Goldberg of Stratford, N.J.; a brother, Joseph Rubenstein of Pittsburgh, Pa; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, King David Section, by Rabbi Lawrence A. Forman. The family will receive friends at 957 Wickham Court, Virginia Beach, Tuesday through Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jewish Geriatric Hospital, 3025 W. Chapel Avenue, Cherry Hill, N.J., 08002. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, is handling the arrangements.
