Frank Lee Dodd, 77, of Box 5278 Holiday Island, died Monday morning, July 10, 1995, in his home.
A native of Terra Haute, Ind., he was the son of the late Max and Mary Dodd. He was a retired machinist with the Gherty-Shultz Company of Toledo, Ohio, and was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Macel ``Mac'' Harris Barnett Dodd; two daughters, Joyce Borden of Sandusky, Ohio, and Marianne Bihn of Rossford, Ohio; three sons, Gary Dodd of Marblehead, Ohio, Michael Ferris of Coral Springs, Fla., and Patrick Ferris of Fla.; three step-daughters, Glenda Mas of Palatka, Fla., Sandra Barrowman of Miramar, Fla., and Maxine Slagle of Noble, Okla.; two step-sons, Elmer Barnett of Virginia Beach, and Guy Barnett of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a sister, Mary Jane Sherrer of Toledo, Ohio; two brothers, Raymond Dodd of Virginia Beach and Holiday Island, and Max Dodd of Elizabeth City; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 2 to 4 p.m. at Swindell Funeral Home, Hertford. The body will be sent from Swindell Funeral Home to Walker Funeral Home, 4315 Talmadge, Toledo, Ohio 43623 for a funeral and burial.
