Carolyn Ann Evans, of the 800 block of East Charlotte St., died July 8, 1995, at her residence.
She was a native of Norfolk, and was a member of the Basilica of St. Mary's of the Immaculate Conception.
She is survived by her two sons, Antonio K. Evans, and Kion Eugene Evans, both of Norfolk; father, Robert H. Evans, Sr. of Portsmouth; her five sisters, Olivia E. Kearney and Gwendolyn E. Cherry, both of Norfolk, Debra Evans Washington of Chesapeake, Valerie Evans Johnson and Candy Evans, both of Virginia Beach; five brothers, Robert H. Evans Jr., Alphonso R. Evans, Donnell J. Evans, Michael J. Evans, and Nathaniel L. Evans, all of Norfolk, and Troy L. Evans of Virginia Beach; two grandchildren, Antonio K. Foster of Portsmouth and Keyantae Westbrook of Norfolk; and a host of other relatives and friends.She was predeceased by her mother Alma T. Evans.
A funeral service will be conducted by Father Walter Barrett Thursday at noon at the Basilica of St. Mary's of the Immaculate Conception. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park.
