Robert L. ``Boots'' Forehand, 79, of the 1900 block of Blue Bonnett Street, died on July 9, 1995, in Chesapeake.
Mr. Forehand was a native of Norfolk County and was a retired employee of Smith-Douglas Fertilizer. He was a member of South Norfolk Baptist Church. He was also a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a recipient of the Bronze Star.
Survivors include his lifetime friend and companion, Mrs. Martha Pannell of Chesapeake; one sister, Lillie B. Richardson of Roanoke, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted by the Rev. Willis Switzer on Wednesday at 1 p.m. The place of burial is Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Norfolk. The family will be at the Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, Chesapeake, tonight from 7 to 8 p.m..
