A garbage truck crashed into a house in the 100 block of Bonwood Road about 4:13 p.m. Monday, a fire spokesman said.
Officials said the driver told personnel that his foot slipped while he was driving. The man fell out of the truck, which then ran through the yard of the home and crashed into the garage.
The driver, who was not identified, was slightly injured. The brick house sustained an estimated $30,000 in damages.
