LAKE TAYLOR'S BUM RAP

I graduated from Lake Taylor last month and I did not feel the least bit deprived or hurt by not having Tai Son participate in the ceremony.

If he was so ``out of touch with us'' and ``doesn't like what we represent,'' then why did he stay at Lake Taylor?

I am a female who attended Lake Taylor High all four years of high school, and I never felt like I was in danger. In fact I can remember witnessing three fights those whole four years.

Whenever you mix different groups of people, there's bound to be confrontation. Lake Taylor has been getting a bum rap since I was in middle school, and I'm tired of it. Lake Taylor is an excellent school with an even better faculty. If the teachers weren't challenging enough for Tai, why did he stay?

I don't know who he was referring to when he said that we were not thinking about our futures, but it couldn't have been me or any of those I know who just graduated and are well on their way to Hampton U., Catholic University, U.Va. William and Mary, JMU and ODU.
