Ben Johnson Barr, of the 300 block of Councill Road, died July 9, 1995 in Southampton Memorial Hospital.
He was a native of Johnville, S.C., retired from Union Camp Corp., and was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Nettie J. Barr; a son, Anthony Barr of Franklin; nine sisters; and two brothers.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Piney Grove Baptist Church, Franklin, by the Rev. C.L. Myrick. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery. Arrangements by William M. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home. Remains will be viewed in the church from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Thursday.
