MALCOLM D. SADLER JR.

Malcolm Douglas ``Doug'' Sadler Jr., 75, of the 4900 block of Portsmouth Blvd., died July 11, 1995, in his residence.

Mr. Sadler was born in Richmond, Va., and lived in Cradock most of his life. He was retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard, the Virginia Highway Department and the antique repair and refinishing business. He was a member of Jolliff United Methodist Church and Methodist Men and a lifetime member of the Seventh Armored Division, Veterans of the Battle of the Bulge and Military Order of Ardennes. He was in the U.S. Army cavalry from 1944-1946.

Survivors include his wife, Inez P. Sadler; and a daughter, Martha Louise Sadler of Chesapeake.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Clayton Robertson and the Rev. Won H. Un. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery, Richmond, Va. Family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Memorial donations to Jolliff United Methodist Church, 1900 Jolliff Road, Chesapeake, Va. 23321.
