Marie S. Lewis, 67, of the 900 block of 104th Street, died July 9, 1995, in her home after a long illness.
A native of Southampton County, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Smith and Lucy B. Smith and was the widow of Albert Lewis.
She was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, Brooklyn.
Survivors include, one son, Milton Smith of New Jersey; one daughter, Phyllis Majette of Brooklyn; two brothers, John Albert Smith and Hubert Smith, both of Franklin, Va.; six sisters, Bessie Smith of Suffolk, Margaret Smith and Lucy B. Stephens, both of Franklin, Va., Lorraine Smith of Brooklyn, Corraine Rooks of Windsor, Va., Shelia Bradshaw of Carrsville, Va.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Elvin Vaughan Funeral Home, Franklin, by the Rev. Billy Lucky. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery.
