Raymond Earl Johnson Sr., 52, of the 600 block of Shillelagh Road, a foreman and brickmason for over 35 years, died July 11, 1995, in Norfolk.
Mr. Johnson was born in the Portlock section of South Norfolk and was employed with Sprinkle Masonry. He was a Baptist and a member of Bricklayers Union Local (NU)2.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Marie Johnson; two daughters, Dianna Marie Eisel and Dana Suzanne Conner; a son, Raymond Earl Johnson Jr.; three sisters, Helen Sands, Shirley Stout and Ruthie Wilkins, all of Chesapeake; four brothers, John Norman Johnson Jr. of Virginia Beach, Gary Johnson and Russell Johnson, both of Chesapeake, and Richard Johnson of Bumpass, Va.; and three grandchildren, John Frederick Eisel Jr., Ashley Marie Conner and Brittany Lee Conner.
A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday.
