Erskine H. Blackburn, 92, of the 800 block of First Colonial Road, died July 11, 1995, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mr. Blackburn was born in Pikeville, Ky., and was the widower of Margaret Allison Blackburn. He had been an appraiser and negotiator in the real estate business in Fayetteville, N.C. He was a member of Royster Memorial Presbyterian Church and Virginia Beach Community Chapel. He was affiliated with the Gideon ministry for 20 years.
Survivors include a number of nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Larry Shoaf. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Royster Memorial Presbyterian Church or to Virginia Beach Community Chapel.
