Francis V. Monti, 29, of 1220 Hillside Avenue, Chesapeake, Va., went to be with the Lord early Tuesday morning, July 11, 1995, at his home.
He was born January 3, 1966, in Kalamazoo, Mich. the son of Francis V. and Anne (Nolan) Monti Sr. He was manager of American Fund of Norfolk; a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Virginia Beach, and formerly a police officer in Kalamazoo, Mich.
He is survived by his wife, Heidi (Hellman) Monti; two sons, Zachary and Matthew; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Francis V. Monti Sr. of Virginia Beach; his father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Hellman of Newark Valley, N.Y.; one sister, Teri Monti; and one brother, Michael Monti, both of Virginia Beach.
Funeral services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, Owego, N.Y., Saturday, July 15, 1995, at 11 a.m. with his brother-in-law, Pastor Joel Lehenbauer officiating with Rev. Randall Russell, Pastor of Zion Lutheran Church. The family will receive their friends at Zion Lutheran Church, Saturday morning from 9:30 until time of service. Those wishing may make memorials in his name to the Zion Lutheran School, Owego, N.Y. 13827. Arrangements are by Richards Funeral Home, Owego, N.Y.
