MCDONALD'S TO HELP

Several Outer Banks McDonald's restaurants will hold fund-raisers on Tuesday to help Michael Territo. Territo, a Manteo High School junior, has remained in a coma since May 12 when he was struck by a car while riding his bicycle.

McDonald's in Manteo, Kill Devil Hills and Kitty Hawk will donate 25 cents for each Big Mac sold to offset Territo's medical expenses. McDonald's Corporation will match the funds raised.

Territo's mother is the assistant manager at the McDonald's in Kitty Hawk.

Radio personalities from WRSF-FM will be on hand at the Kitty Hawk restaurant on July 18 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. to help with the benefit.
