Rep. Walter B. Jones Jr., R-N.C., on Tuesday voted against a foreign aid bill that passed the House.
The Foreign Operations Appropriations Act reduces U.S. aid to foreign countries by $1.6 billion. Jones, one of few Republicans who voted against the bill, said he opposed the measure because it did not cut enough. The Senate must deliberate the foreign aid package before it goes to the president. by CNB
