FRANCES SWEENEY BOTELER

Frances Katherine Sweeney Boteler of the 5100 block of Shenstone Drive died July 12, 1995, at her residence.

Born May 30, 1902, she was the daughter of the late Laura J. Virginia Renner Sweeney and the late John Burnside Sweeney; widow of Henry Augustus Boteler and mother of the late Frances Katherine Boteler.

She is survived by daughter Lucy Ellin Boteler Weisheit Page of Virginia Beach, Va., and son-in-law, Carroll S. Page. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Mark S. Weisheit of Virginia Beach, Kathryn W. Maddox of College Station, Texas, and Kurt Boteler Weisheit of Jacksonville, Fla., and by great grandchildren, Cory Allman, Zachary, Seth, Jacob and Jared Weisheit, Jennifer and Joshua Maddox.

A 1920 graduate of the Frederick Girls High School, she was a member of the Francis Scott Key Women's Auxiliary, Past Noble Grand of Rebecca Lodge, Past President of the American Legion Auxiliary, member of the Women's Club of Govans, Baltimore, member of Threads of Gold Sunday School Class of Calvary Methodist Church, a member of NARFE, AARP, and the XYZ Senior Citizens of Calvary.

Burial will be Monday, July 17, at 10 a.m. in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick, Md., with Kenney and Basford in charge of arrangements.
