Margarette Burroughs, 75, of E. Bonner Drive, died July 12, 1995.
Mrs. Burroughs was born in Jacksonville, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Curtis L. Burroughs, was a member of Trinity Baptist Church for 45 years, the Olive Bible Class of the church and Estabrook Civic League.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda B. Moore and son-in-law, Thomas M. Moore of Virginia Beach; two sons, David N. Burroughs of Winnemucca, Fla., and Kenneth G. and a daughter-in-law Margie Burroughs of Blacksburg, Va.; two grandchildren, Lee M. Moore of Virginia Beach and Jessica L. Burroughs of Blacksburg; and two great-grandchildren, John Thomas Moore and Erin Nicole Moore, both of Virginia Beach.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk chapel, by Dr. John P. Mason. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Donations may be made to Trinity Baptist Church.
