John ``Jack'' Theodore Booth, 82, of Hampton died Thursday, July 13, 1995. Born in Hampton on May 18, 1913, he was a lifelong resident of Hampton. He retired from NASA, Langley, and was a member of East Hampton United Methodist Church and Monitor Lodge No. 197 A.F. and A.M.
Mr. Booth was preceded in death by his wife, Annabel Johnson Booth and is survived by three daughters, Phyllis Booth Bettencourt of Virginia Beach, Rebekah Booth Molloy of Paris, France, and Charlotte Booth West of Charleston, SC, a sister, Elizabeth Booth Brushwood of Hampton, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 15, 1995 in Oakland Cemetery by the Rev. William H. Nuckols Jr. The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 PM Friday at the R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home.
