George Washington Hamm, 75, died July 12, 1995, in Decatur, Ala.
Mr. Hamm was born in Kentucky and worked as a self-employed interior/exterior decorator. He was a Baptist.
He is survived by his wife, Norma B. Hamm; two daughters, Deborah Gibson of Grandy, N.C., and Jane Reed of Decatur; two sons, Jimmie Seisler of Decatur, and David Hamm of Grandy N.C.; three sisters, Meryl Reeves and Opal Vice, both of Flemingsburg, Ky., and Mae Feitner of Toledo, Ohio; two brothers, Richard Hamm and Lyle Hamm, both of Flemingsburg, Ky.; 14 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday by Rev. Robert E. Jordan in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River chapel. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
