Raymond Earl Johnson Sr., 52, of the 600 block of Shillelagh Road, died July 11, 1995, in Norfolk.
He was born in the Portlock section of South Norfolk and was a foreman and brickmason for over 35 years for Sprinkle Masonry. He was a member of Bricklayers Union local (NU)2. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Marie Johnson; two daughters, Deanna Marie Eisel and Dana Suzanne Conner, both of Chesapeake; one son, Raymond Earl Johnson Jr. of Chesapeake; three sisters, Helen Sands, Shirley Stout and Ruthie Wilkins, all of Chesapeake; four brothers, John Norman Johnson Jr. of Virginia Beach, Gary Johnson of Chesapeake, Richard Johnson of Bumpass and Russell Johnson of Chesapeake; and three grandchildren, John Frederick Eisel Jr., Ashley Marie Conner and Brittany L. Conner.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge chapel. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
