Ann Poplin Calhoun, 60, of the 5200 block of Forestdale Drive, died on July 12, 1995, in her residence.
She was a native of Chester, S.C. and was currently working as a schoolteacher at John F. Kennedy Middle School. She was a member of Liberty New Testament Church.
She is survived by her mother, Pauline Brock Beyer of Hendersonville, N.C.; three sons, Michael Warner of New York City, Eric Warner of San Diego, Calif., and Jeffrey Calhoun of Portsmouth; three sisters, Lucy Wines, Jane McKay, and Rebecca Poplin; and one granddaughter, Molly Warner of San Diego.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Emmaus Foursquare Gospel Church by Pastor S. Joel Palser. Memorial donations may be made to Liberty New Testament Church, 3406 Jackson Ave., Portsmouth, Va. 23703. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. chapel, is handling arrangements.
