REGARDING ``ALICE AND CAROL''

Regarding ``Alice and Carol'' (Daily Break, July 6): This shows me the type of newspaper you publish. Two lesbians and their lifestyle get thousands of words in many columns on two pages. Was it a slow news day? There has to be something more wholesome and interesting you could have filled those columns with instead of subjecting the public to more liberal, alternate lifestyle garbage.

It is bad enough that we live in a time when responsible parents have to monitor what their children watch on TV, listen to on the radio or play on video games. Now we need to check the Daily Break before they can read the comics or check the movie schedule or read the teen columns.

I am not homophobic, but I consider homosexuality and lesbianism sinful in the eyes of God. I do not hate the sinner, but the sin. I am tired of liberals telling me and those like me that we need to accept homosexuality. I can never accept it because the Bible, God's word, says it is an abomination in his eyes.

It will not take much more of this liberal garbage before I cancel my subscription. Give us parents a break.
