Mattie Carr Snook, 91, of Archer's Mill Road, a homemaker, died July 13, 1995, in Hillhaven Nursing Home.
She was born in Southampton County and was the widow of William Amos Snook. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and the Adult Bible Class.
Survivors include two daughters, Lucy S. Bradshaw of Suffolk and Elizabeth S. Wilhide of Corapeake, N.C.; a son, Charles O. Snook of Suffolk; a sister, Mary C. Stephenson of Windsor, Va.; two brothers, J. Lonnie Carr and Raleigh L. Carr, both of Carrsville; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. B.L. Scofield. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Christian Church Cemetery.
