MARY V. PARIS

Mary Vergakis Paris, 88, of the 600 block of Mossycup Drive, died July 14, 1995, in Virginia Beach.

She was born in Crete. She was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Hellenic Women's Club and Golden Years Club.

Survivors include a son, Melvin A. Paris of Norfolk; daughter-in-law, Mary Brendle Paris of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Jennie Vergakis and Nikki Sheffield, both of Norfolk, and Anne Hayden of Florida; a brother, Harry Vergakis of Norfolk; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral by Fr. Constantine Rogakos and Fr. Savas C. Counstantinou. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. A Trisagion service will be held on Sunday at 7 p.m. with visitation to follow. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, is in charge.
