MINNIE M. SHANKSTER

Minnie Lee Midgett Shankster, 63, of the 2000 block of Summerhaven Road, died Thursday, July 13, 1995, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Lloyd Midgett and Elnora Gallop Midgett of Virginia Beach, who survives. She was a member of The Word of Life Christian Center in Virginia Beach.

Besides her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Brenda Bridges Caruana and her husband, Gary T. Caruana of Virginia Beach, Carol Lee Seibert Scherer of Virginia Beach; a son, Lloyd Wayne ``Bud'' Seibert and his wife, Angel of Virginia Beach; a sister, Linda G. Midgett of Virginia Beach; five grandchildren, Marni L. Caruana and Angie E. Caruana, Kelley Kello, Jennifer L. Seibert and Callie Joy Scherer, all of Virginia Beach; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends and most of all, her pets who will miss and grieve for her the most. Her pets were her life.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 17, 1995 at 11 a.m. in the Word of Life Christian Center with the Dr. Joseph R. Martin officiating. The family will gather after the funeral in the Fellowship Hall to receive friends. A graveside service will be at 4 p.m. Monday in Manteo Cemetery Manteo, N.C. The family will receive friends at Twiford's Ghent Chapel, Norfolk, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday. Memorial donations may be made to the Word of Life Christian Center, Overseas Ministries in care of the church.
