Olive Loretta Nobis, 74, of the 3500 block of Norland Court, a homemaker, died July 13, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Mrs. Nobis was born in New York City, and was a Catholic. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post (NU)3160 and American Legion Branch (NU)327.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Herman Nobis; two daughters, Margaret Gasink of Stroudsburg, Pa., and Pauline Dunn of Norwich, N.Y.; two sons, George H. Nobis and Carl F. Nobis, both of Norfolk; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday one hour prior to the service. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
