CREEF CUT OPENS

The official opening of Creef Cut Wildlife Trail and Fishing Area, located at the intersection of Milltrail Road and Highway 64, will be held Tuesday.

Creef Cut consists of a 50-foot boardwalk, an observation platform and a 250-foot boardwalk over a freshwater marsh. Fish are naturally replenished from South Lake. Waterfowl, black bear, woodpeckers and birds of prey are commonly seen there.

From Manns Harbor, drive west on Highway 64/264. When 64 and 264 split, turn right onto 64. Creef Cut is approximately four miles on the left. by CNB
