MORE THAN 500 people have called our BFIT line to join The Virginian-Pilot's Fitness Quest and register their goal. One reader called pledging that her dog would lose 5 pounds.
In all, more than 1,300 people have called since our Fitness Quest kicked off last Sunday.
Call Infoline at 640-5555 and press BFIT (2348) to register your goal, tell us your success, share information or get nutritional and fitness tips.
Each week we'll pick 10 names at random from all those who call BFIT and join ``The Quest'' as winners of a ``Go For Fit'' T-shirt. (Allow three to four weeks for delivery).
This week's winners are:
April Cummings, Portsmouth; Tami Hardison, Chesapeake; Betty Huntington, Virginia Beach; Joanne Keenan, Chesapeake; Laura McKinley, Norfolk; Dee Howard Pollins, Portsmouth; April Price, Yorktown; Pat Rhodes, Chesapeake; Ed Walton, Virginia Beach; and Wiley Wright, Portsmouth.
