POOR ROLE MODEL

Regarding ``Miss Virginia is allowed to keep title'' (news, July 7): The new Miss Virginia's ``explanations'' were even more preposterous than her original claims. What a role model and representative of the commonwealth the Miss Virginia Pageant has foisted on us. The pageant officials themselves are some role models - of incompetence and complicity.
